Nesim is an elderly Afghan cyclist. Nesim's son settled in Istanbul years ago and lives there. Nesim receives news that his son, who is about to get married, has gone missing before the wedding and sets out to find him. He enters Turkey via illegal and dangerous routes along the border, traveling with refugees. After losing his friends at the border, Nesim takes refuge in a border village in Turkey, where he witnesses the love between shepherd Mustafa and Zelal. Upon learning of Nesim's arrival in Turkey, the mafia seeks to exploit the situation and sends its men to track him down. Shepherd Mustafa finds himself caught between protecting Zelal, whom he loves, and Nesim and the criminals.

The film deals with the problems experienced when a man who is released from prison returns home. Tarik is about to get out of the prison he has been in for six years. He married Nurten a few days before he went to prison, but hasn't seen her for years. Nurten lives with Tarık's family after Tarık goes to prison. During the years Tarık was in prison, she became close to her husband's brother Fikret and became pregnant. Jale grew up in a wealthy but indifferent family environment and found herself in a brothel overnight. Hale, on the other hand, was a poor student who became accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle due to her friends and was swept into the nightlife. Rescuing Jale and Hale from the brothel will not be easy for Metin and Rıza.
